AIT Translation follows the EN 15038 standard in quality control and in their management of human resources, projects and customer relations. This means:
All our translators have
- At least 5 years of professional experience as translators
- Relevant qualifications and training
- Expertise in the professional sector they specialise in
- Professional references
- Signed a Letter of Confidentiality
We allocate our translations to translators according to:
- Target/source language of the documents
- Translator’s native tongue
- Subject area
- Familiarity with the client’s preferred terminology
- Sworn or certified translations (for official documents and subject to each country’s regulations)
- Availability for deadline required
How does it work?
Workflow adapted to customer needs
A translator can usually translate about 2500 words a day on average. In addition time is needed for proofing and revision. When a client’s time scale requires faster delivery we share the document between several translators. The project manager supervises the coordination, revision, proofing and ensures the consistency of the terminology before delivery.
We pride ourselves on the efficiency of our project managers
The project manager is the person you will deal with and with whom you will agree the delivery date and discuss any special terminology. The project manager works with the quality control manager to guarantee prompt delivery of the carefully proofed translation.
